Job Title: Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay: $30-$32/hr.
Schedule: Onsite, ~20 hours per week
Duration: Ongoing Temporary

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to provide part-time support to the accounting team in our client's Irvine office. This role will work closely alongside the existing accounting staff to assist primarily with AR and AP coordination, helping to ensure accurate, timely processing and follow-up.

This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys transactional accounting work, has strong QuickBooks Online experience, and is comfortable supporting day-to-day AR/AP activities in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) processing, including invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding balances
  • Support Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice entry, coding, and payment coordination
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors/customers regarding billing and payment status
  • Maintain accurate, organized financial records and documentation
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online for AR/AP processing and reporting
  • Support additional accounting tasks as needed to assist the broader team

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions is required
  • Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small accounting team
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
